RHS Keystone Exam and WIDA Testing for January 6 through January 14th, 2025

  • Reading High School will administer the Keystone and WIDA Exams to selected students on the following dates: Monday, January 6th through Tuesday, January 14th. During the testing window, Reading High School will follow a modified schedule. 

    Students taking the Keystone Exams have received specific information from their teachers regarding where and when to report for their exams. Additional reminders will be sent via targeted messages.

    Any changes to school times due to inclement weather, such as school closures or delayed starts, will result in the cancellation of testing for that day. 

    Keystone Exams Schedule for Selected Students at Reading High School

    Reading High School will administer the Keystone Exams on the following dates:

    • Tuesday, January 7th: Algebra Module 1
    • Wednesday, January 8th: Algebra Module 2
    • Thursday, January 9th: Literature Module 1
    • Friday, January 10th: Literature Module 2
    • Monday, January 13th: Biology Module 1 
    • Tuesday, January 14th: Biology Module 2 

     

    WIDA Test Schedule for English Language Proficiency

    Reading High School will conduct the WIDA ACCESS test for English Learners as required by the state of PA on the following dates:

    • Tuesday, January 7th: WIDA Listening/Reading
    • Wednesday, January 8th: WIDA Speaking/Writing
    • Thursday, January 9th: WIDA Make-ups
    • Friday, January 10th: WIDA Make-ups
    • Monday, January 13th: WIDA Make-ups
    • Tuesday, January 14th: WIDA Make-ups

    Specialized Transportation for Students

    Students utilizing specialized transportation should arrive at school at their usual time on testing days, as their bus schedule will not change. 

     

    Testing Information for Students

    Students scheduled for the Keystone and WIDA Exams have received details from their teachers about where and when to report for their exams. Further reminders will be sent through targeted messages.

     

    Important Information for Non-Testing Students

    The information below is for students who are NOT taking either the Keystone or WIDA Exams.

    • Arrival Time: RHS will open doors for non-testing students at 10:15 a.m. Students must report to homeroom by 10:30 a.m.

    • Transportation: Students using RSD transportation should arrive at their bus stop three hours later than their normal scheduled time.

    • Bell Schedule: A modified bell schedule will be in effect for the rest of the school day

    AMCTC Students Non-testing Students:
    Students not taking the Keystone or WIDA Exams should attend AMCTC at their regular time during the testing dates. They will have lunch at CTC and return to RHS at their usual time, following the modified bell schedule for the remainder of the day.

     

    Red Knight Accelerated Academies (RKAA City, RKAA Glenside and RKAA Thomas Ford)

    All students attending the Red Knight Accelerated Academy Campuses at City Line, Glenside, and Thomas Ford should report to school at their regular start time of 9:20 AM from January 7th to January 14th. Selected students will be taking Keystone Exams during this window.
